Free Text Search and Exact Words

When you enter words to be searched you have the option either to search those words as exact phrase or search words occurring anywhere in head notes or judgments

Field Search

You can search judgments by any particular field or filter the free text words with these fields namely Court Name, Party Name, Judge Name, Advocate Name, Case Number or Date of Decision. The unique part of field search is that you can apply filters or combination of fields at any level of search and search within search. It means if you have searched judgment with any particular field then you can make search within search with any new field or combination of fields.

Citation Search

Book Citations: Judgments can be searched by entering citations of print journals in format of Year : vol: journal name: page number

Law Herald Citation: All the judgments in our database are also provided citation of lawherald.org, which serves as citation of online journal. Freedom from book citations and thereby books

Alerts

You can create an alert for a particular Act or Statute whereby when any judgment is uploaded for that particular or statute you would be informed about so that you remain updated with latest judgments especially regarding your favorite topic

Custom Notes

You can add personal notes against judgments and save them under headings created by you. These notes under various headings can be seen and printed as and when required. This feature works like personal registers maintained by senior advocates for quick reference of law points saved by them.

Save Search queries

All searches made by you are saved and can be retrieved later on whenever you want to do search on same words

Bookmark

You can book mark particular judgment so that you can open that judgment without making search for that

Print

You can be take print of judgments directly from net without first downloading it.

Download Judgments

You can download the judgment in pdf format which would be saved as in book format. You can also highlight a particular portion of judgment before taking print.

Updates

Judgments are updated every hour so that all the latest judgments are available in the shortest possible time

Forwarding

Judgments can be forwarded to any body through email. No need for recipient has access to site

Readability

You can increase or decrease font size of judgment as per your convenience so as to make reading pleasurable experience.
